"The Lady or the Tiger?"

Every Heart stopped beating, every breath was held, every eye was fixed immovably upon that man.

As he went to the door the crowd was hysterical and as he finally opened the door.... A tiger asleep, not awake nor hungry. The crowd gasped in shock, their faces had no slight movement. The king came upon the tiger in rage and kicked him awake. The tiger jumped on his paws, the first thing he saw was the youth. He had sprinted to him, but the youth got a sword from the princess! He grabbed the sword and sliced the tiger's head just like cutting a very juicy watermelon. The crowd grew with applause and the king gasped, walked over to the young man and said, "If you are worthy enough to kill this tiger, you are worthy enough to marry my daughter!" The princess came running down to leap into her new husband's arms (which were filled with blood) and kissed him! After that they lived happily ever after in the kingdom, less barbaric.

  1. Really nice and detailed ending. I liked how the princess gave the youth a sword and he killed the tiger.

  3. Really nice job on the ending. I loved how descriptive it was. I do have one question: Where did the princess get the sword from?

  6. Dear Evelia,

You put a lot of details in this ending, which I like, but how would one sneak in a sword?
